    Don’t know your VIN? Here’s where to find it

    • Driver-side dashboard: Look through the windshield at the metal plate near the base.

    • Driver-door jamb sticker: On the tire/pressure label.

    • Registration, insurance card, or a service invoice: VIN appears there, too.

    Make it easy on yourself: Next time you’re in the car, snap a quick photo of your VIN plate and your odometer. Upload or reference the photo when you submit the form—fast and accurate.

    • Is there a waiting period?
      Often a brief one for used vehicles to prevent pre-existing claims. Your rep will confirm your start date.

    • Can I transfer the plan if I sell the car?
      Yes—one-time transfer to a private buyer (small admin fee). It can help with resale value.

    • What isn’t covered?
      Routine maintenance and wear items (e.g., tires, brake pads/rotors, fluids/filters), cosmetic/trim, glass, and accident/abuse damage. Full details appear in your contract.

    • Who backs the plan?
      Your contract is insured by an A-rated carrier and administered by our North American partner. That’s how claims get paid.
